For the past 19 years, Datatank has been detecting Council Tax fraud, working with over 165 local authorities in England, Wales and Scotland. We have been so successful at finding fraud cases Local Authorities needed an effective solution for managing all the new case investigations. Initially, we were approached to see if we could provide a secure method to access additional intelligence in relation to fraudulent claims. This was the catalyst to developing OPUS case management.
Datatank has always had an in-house software development team as we believe this is a key component to ensuring integrity and security for our software and data. So it became a natural step for Datatank to develop a case management system for clients to manage fraudulent cases identified.

DTx is used by fraud investigation teams to manage and coordinate cases including council tax, benefits, blue badge and employee fraud cases.
